How Much Staging Do You Need?
A single presenter or speaker — 8x8 to 8x12 is typically enough
A graduation ceremony with multiple presenters — 12x16 or larger is common
A band or performance — plan for at least 16x20; more if you have equipment
Add stairs on at least one side for any stage over 12 inches tall
Skirting panels cover the front and sides — measure your perimeter
When in doubt, go slightly larger — extra deck sections are easy to add
